ISAG 2010

International Society for Animal Genetics

26 - 30 July 2010, Edinburgh Conference Centre, Riccarton Campus

Location

Forth Road BridgeEdinburgh, the capital city of Scotland is filled with historical sights and stories. The Old Town was developed from the 11th century, originally within defensive walls, around the rock on which sits Edinburgh Castle. From here, the historic Royal Mile sweeps down to the Palace of Holyrood House, the Queen's official royal residence in Scotland. The Castle provides a spectacular backdrop to the busy shop-filled streets - in particular George Street.

Edinburgh is also famous for its New Town, which is a model of 18th century town planning with its magnificent Georgian Terraces.

Edinburgh has much to offer both historically and culturally and, in addition, there are many fine restaurants that draw on the rich produce of the Scottish countryside. Whatever your preferred activity, Edinburgh caters for all and visitors to the city are sure to be charmed by all that it has to offer.

The 32nd Conference for the International Society for Animal Genetics will be held at Edinburgh Conference Centre, to the west of Edinburgh City Centre. Accommodation will be available at the venue and at a range of nearby hotels.
