Student Bursaries
The International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG) awards a limited number of bursaries (up to 20) to enable students and early stage researches to attend ISAG conferences.
A travel bursary to attend the Conferences will be granted based on the quality of the scientific abstract. An independent Committee will read the abstracts and decide if a bursary will be awarded.
General rules apply:
Applicants must not older than 35 years.
A bursary will be given only once to a candidate.
A bursary will be paid only after presentation at the Conference.
The value of the bursary is determined, in part, by the cost of travelling to the conference and thus on the location of the Conference and the country in which the applicant is living. As ISAG2010 will be held in Edinburgh the value of the bursaries for 2010 will be 800 Euros for applicants living in Europe and 1200 Euros for applicants living outside Europe.
Payments of the bursaries will be made by the ISAG Treasurer on-site at the Conference.
The number of available bursaries is 20.
The deadline for applications for bursaries will be 31 March 2010.
If you wish to apply for a bursary please download and complete the BURSARY APPLICATION FORM and email to isag2010bursaries@meetingmakers.co.uk.
